Once a family heirloom this piece found itself without a home anymore. I wanted to give a second life which would ensure that it would find it’s place within a new family for years to come.
The original beauty of this piece was hidden under thick red stain. It gave the piece such an outdated look and once removed, the natural glow of the wood grain popped.
The exposed shelves were painted in green/blue tones, to create a moody feel which contrasts the golden interior hidden behind the doors. Once the doors are opened, the gold leaf walls illuminate against any light source. A true showstopper when filled with amber whiskeys.
Both subtitle and outgoing within a single cabinet.
